As a mother of six, I have always relied on domestic staff to help manage household tasks. However, time and again, I found myself facing the same frustrating cycle — difficulty in finding skilled and reliable professionals, high turnover rates, and the constant need to retrain new hires. Many lacked fundamental skills, proper work ethics, and a sense of commitment.

As a mother of six, I have always relied on domestic staff to help manage household tasks. However, time and again, I found myself facing the same frustrating cycle — difficulty in finding skilled and reliable professionals, high turnover rates, and the constant need to retrain new hires. Many lacked fundamental skills, proper work ethics, and a sense of commitment.
They often became overwhelmed by household responsibilities, leading to frequent resignations — sometimes without notice. Worse still, instances of dishonesty, theft, gossip, and breaches of trust left me feeling frustrated and disheartened.
I soon realized that my experience was not unique.
A survey conducted among families in Abuja and Lagos revealed that nearly 80% of households faced similar challenges — from hiring unskilled domestic staff to dealing with unreliability, security risks, and mismanagement.
Families struggled to find competent, professional, and long-term domestic staff, and this lack of structure created stress, inefficiency, and disorder in homes.
Through observation and firsthand experience, I identified a fundamental gap:
